Introduction of crystals edible soda sodium bicarbonate in bulk
Classification: Carbonate Type: Sodium Bicarbonate CAS No.: 144-55-8
MF: NaHCO3 EINECS No.: 205-633-8 Place of Origin: Henan, China (Mainland)
Grade Standard: Food Grade Purity: 99% Min Appearance: White
Application: cake and bread Model Number: 0056 Color: White Color
Usage: Food Addictive Grade: food grade PH: 8.5 Min
Property: white powder or tiny crystal, inodorous and salty, easily soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, presenting slightly alkalinity, decomposed when heating, decomposed slowly when exposed to moist air.
Cautions: Keeping away from sunlight and moisture,storing in well ventilated dry place.
Application:as yeast in the food industry, detergent additives, carbon dioxide generant, pharmaceutical raw materials.
|Chemical Properties||white powder or crystals|
|General Description||Odorless white crystalline powder or lumps. Slightly alkaline (bitter) taste. pH (of freshly prepared 0.1 molar aqueous solution): 8.3 at 77°F. pH (of saturated solution): 8-9. Non-toxic.|
|Air & Water Reactions||Stable in dry air, but slowly decomposes in moist air. Moderately water soluble. Decomposes slowly in water (accelerated by agitation) .|
|Reactivity Profile||Sodium bicarbonate reacts exothermically with acids to generate non-toxic carbon dioxide gas. Decomposes when heated. Incompatible with acids, acidic salts (dopamine hydrochloride, pentazocine lactate, many alkaloidal salts) aspirin and bismuth salicylate.|
|Fire Hazard||Literature sources indicate that Sodium bicarbonate is noncombustible.|
|Biological Activity||Commonly used laboratory reagent|
